For international travel, your passport should usually be valid for at least 6 months after your planned return date. Some countries also require at least 2 blank pages.
Depending on your nationality and destination, a visa may be required. There are several types of procedure:
Some destinations require an international vaccination certificate (in particular for yellow fever in sub-Saharan Africa and South America). See a travel vaccination centre or your doctor at least 4 to 6 weeks before departure.
Cabin bag: usually 1 piece of 8 to 10 kg maximum, standard size 55x40x20 cm (varies by airline).
Checked baggage: depending on the fare booked, 0 to 2 pieces of 20 to 32 kg each (varies by airline and class).
Liquids in the cabin: containers of 100 ml maximum, placed in a 1-litre transparent plastic bag.
